Sumner Redstone is a pig. His objectification of women is often unbearable. I felt like I was listening to something from the 50s or 60s, but no this was going on less than 10 years ago and honestly I’m sure it still is. While the whole book was an expose on how old rich white men get away with too much, I will say I powered through it with the same excitement and cringeness I feel when watching Succession. Really well researched and written.

aside from the nurses who cared for Sumner Redstone, blew the whistle on elder abuse, and as far as the book recounts, were never compensated - EVERYONE HERE SUCKS. very thorough reporting, but I felt so personally drained by the awful behavior of everyone involved by 3/4ths of the way through that I couldn't wait for it to end.
