When I heard this book had been opted for development as a film, I knew, by the title alone, I had to read it. A fun quick read with a very satisfactory ending.

Great read aloud...

Delightful children's story with a positive message

I was looking to read this book but now, after reading it, I was like "Ha,ha,ha... what was that?!"
First, why burn all these forests to save a bum! She should have stayed with the dragon!
At the end, the prince cared more about her appearance than being rescued from being eaten . The story has no logic in it. Again, and she burned with the dragon all those forests for him!!

A smart princess, I love to see it.

A feminist fairy tale; I LOVE it. I've been reading the Spanish version to my son since he was too little to notice how bad my pronunciation may be. :)

Fun illustrations, and good message!

Read for my children's lit class.
This is one that I will 100% be reading to my kids, especially daughters.
