I loved this book! My 5th grader chose this book for a school project and I read along too. I enjoyed the three main characters, William, Edmund, and Anna, and reading about their journey to find their forever family. A couple of the chapters towards the end had me tearing up about their story/journey and thinking about the journey of other children during WWII who were sent away.
The cover is so cute and beautifully done as well. I'm glad to have added this book to my shelves. It would definitely be a reread for me - maybe around Christmas. And, I just checked the author's website and saw she has a new book coming about in September and I look forward to reading it too.
