I just love this book so much. Monica Murphy’s Lancaster Prep series is one of my favourites.

Arch Lancaster completely changes for the better once he meets Daisy Albright, who comes more and more out of her shell as the book goes on.

I love these characters with my whole heart. Everytime I read a book from this series I dub it my favourite. But after this reread I think this is my favourite, even if I change my mind once I read another one.

It’s classic rich boy/poor girl but done well and with taste. No judgement and just happiness, undying love for one another.

It’s the perfect cheesy romance and I ate up every second of it.

The bonus chapter is chefs kiss.

I read “A Million Kisses In Your Lifetime” in this same series about a month beforehand, and it’s basically the exact same plot with a few different personality traits and tropes here and there. Regardless, I ate it up and probably will read another one from this series. The fact that I still read this nearly 500-page book in 2 full days definitely says something. This is the type of book I pick up after reading a mystery or a dark academia book and need something a little lighter as a break lmao.

Slightly disappointed

I had a lot of hopes for this book based on the reviews and blurb, unfortunately it wasn’t what I thought it’d be.

I think the hardest part for me was that I didn’t truly feel like I knew much about both MC. I learned some things from their pasts, but not much. The characters seemed to connect well, but once they were together I didn’t read much that would make me think their relationship was much more than just sex.

I really wanted to enjoy this book because I’ve loved other books by this author, unfortunately this one missed its mark with me.
