I wanted to really like this novel, because I felt like it did a lot of things very well. The story was intriguing, the characters had the potential to be very interesting, all of that good stuff. But for some reason, while I was entertained by the story, I didn't really develop any kind of emotional attachment to the characters. I never felt like I really knew them, and it felt kind of like all the characters were playing pieces that the author moved around at will. I'm curious if other people have read this novel, and what your reaction to it was?

A good, strange little story. It feels very intimate, which I really liked, and the jumping around in time felt natural. Parts of the book felt like they dragged on, which isn't great for such a short book, but I overall enjoyed it.

I jumped in not knowing what to expect and was immediately intrigued. The storytelling covered sleep, dreams, romance, therapy, books and films, so many of my favorite things! The plot is ingenious and each strand of the cobweb is a delicious story in its own right.

I loveee when a book has different perspectives and comes together at the end. Also, I find sleep so fascinating so this was a great read
