This book was better than I expected. Very straightforward in its writing style and extremely revealing.  I like that the author narrated the book, as her NYC accent added to the flavor.  However, there was something weird with the acoustics in the first half of the book.  It was like she was in an empty dome, slight echo, for lack of a better word.  I do recommend this book. I enjoyed learning more about the life of "John John" Kennedy.

My mistake. While parts of this were interesting, I mistakingly expected (hoped for?) JFK Jr/Caroline’s biographies in what was clearly his assistant’s memoir.

I didn’t care about how their lives affected her. I just cared about their lives. If you’re going in with my same interest, you’ll be disappointed.

Good snapshot look at JFK Jr and Carolyn Bessette. Also, a very good memoir about RoseMarie Terenzio and her time with these two very famous people and how she learned to cope with their loss.

Pretty good, interesting. Made John seem more like the impression I always had of him.

I need something fluffy after all of these "dark" reads lately.

I have not read very many things on JFK Jr and since he was such a private person that isn't very surprising. It was interesting to see him through the eyes of someone that didn't idolize him, but instead looked at him as just another person who eventually became a large part of their personal life. While the author is not in any way the best writer in the world, her story is touching and rather candid. She didn't sugar coat anyone or make them look like something that they weren't, and far that alone she should be applauded.

I would give this book 3.5 stars. It's interesting, but boring. She repeats herself over and over again.

We don’t get details that the JFK Jr and CBK wouldn’t have wanted shared, such as about their wedding, but we do get insight into them as people, as friends, as bosses. The book, at heart, is about the author’s time as JFK Jr’s assistant at George and about her friendships with them.
