Cute but Weird at times

The Sister is really odd, who does that? And that kid Shouta, WHAT? He was really creepy tbh, what was with the furry vibes. But the main storyline is interesting. And pretty cute!

I am liking this series the more and more that I read it. It is filled with all of the shojo tropes in a good way, and they happen so fast that even if you didn't like them, it doesn't occur for long. Plus this series seems to be on the older end of shojo, bordering the edge of Josei, because the content seems a bit mature for the mature for shojo and I love it. I love the more explicit nature of this series, but it's not enough for me to straight up call it a josei. Hopefully you guys can understand what I mean. Like there are more explicit scenes and conversations, but not enough for me to assess it and elevate it to josei level. Just enough for me to know that this would be labelled like New Adult ish instead of Adult or Young Adult.

I like how the plot is progressing. We have love pasts and rivals to contend with in this volume, as well as sweet moments. I do hope that we have the same level of plot development in the rest of the series as I could see this series joining my list of all time favourite manga series!

In terms of character development, we are slowly seeing it with Shusei, but not really. I just hope that as the pair develop into a couple that we learn more about both of them rather than the focus being on them getting together. I'd like to get invested into the characters so I can truly appreciate them coming together as a couple more!

I really enjoyed this volume, that I already have downloaded volume 3 on Kindle Unlimited before I even started this review! This manga series is honestly making me contemplate getting Kindle Unlimited forever. It could potentially make me save money on all of the mangas, but then I could end up spending more money if I like all of the mangas.... ah the dilemma!
