it’s seems exhausted being married to christian grey. that being said i did still read the whole book and enjoyed how bad it was.
Wow. I can't believe I made it through this series. After [b:Fifty Shades of Grey|10818853|Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1)|E.L. James|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1385207843s/10818853.jpg|15732562] and [b:Fifty Shades Darker|11857408|Fifty Shades Darker (Fifty Shades, #2)|E.L. James|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1358266080s/11857408.jpg|16813814], I knew this would be bad. But really, I should have known better. I should have known that it would be mind-meltingly, appallingly, heart-stoppingly god-awful.
This entire book was so boring, I felt a hole growing in my head and bits of my brain seeping out as I read. By this point, there is nothing remotely interesting about empty-headed Ana and Christian (*yawn* he's so hot *yawn*) Grey.
E.L. James clearly cannot write a story to save her life, and there's so much wrong with this one. Timeline, for starters. The book opens with Christian's *dark* and *ooh, disturbing* childhood, picks right up with the honeymoon, and flashes back to the wedding. Hello, unnecessary confusion.
Next up, the plot. Wow, was the plot ever terrible? Ana forgets to take her birth control shot regularly (is that a thing?) and also Christian's sister gets kidnapped by his former foster brother. Uhhhh? What? Why? Did anyone notice that withdrawing $5,000,000 from a bank might be slightly...unrealistic? No? Just me? K, makes sense.
I'm not even going to bother criticizing the characters. Ana is insipid, Christian is uninteresting, their love is ridiculous. They're both children. #babieshavingbabies
It is a relief to be done with this steaming pile of manure. I needed a break for awhile, mindless drivel, and this sure did serve its purpose. Back to the serious literature!

The love for Christian Grey continues. I must admit I was gutted when I finished this trilogy. Left me wanting more, to know how they dealt with parenthood.

Poor writing. Jumpy for no reason. Outrageous words that just don't belong. And did I mention that I hate the word "baby"? Ever since Babe the pig.
