E.L. James has taken a love story and made it more. I would recommend this book to anyone with a heart to read and absorb what these two went through to get to their "happy moment".
What can I say? I am an aspiring sex therapist and felt the need to read the series once I saw they were making a movie.
So, this is what all women want?...well it must be a comforting thought to know that domestic violence is alive and well in our society. I'm sure you can find a controlling douche bag who will torture you. Sex and stalking is how we control people...didn't you know that?! (*rolls eyes*)
When I first started the series, I thought 'this could be better' because I somewhat liked the characters. Then I kept reading. It only got worse and more ridiculous. In fact, I laughed a lot while reading this series. I couldn't help myself. It was just so f**king stupid.
Paired with awful writing (by far the worst writing I have ever seen) and no plot, this book and all the other ones get one star, and honestly, that's damn generous of me.

Wow. And I don't mean "That was awesome." I mean, "WTF was that?" No. Not even that. What-the-fuck-was-that! So yes. Wow. I mean it had plot. Sort of. Poorly constructed. At best. But there. I think maybe, just maybe, if it had been developed and most if not all sex scenes cut... Maybe not even then. But I'd like to see that book. Wait, no. That's Twilight. And I rated that not much better than this. Sadly, this one wasn't even hilarious like the first two. It was sad. Not make me cry sad. Pathetic sad.
What a disappointment of a book. The lack of skillful prose began to detract from the book itself. I found myself growing frustrated and annoyed with the book, which defeats the purpose of such a book (the escapism factor). I had serious issues with this book, and one was a huge plot point. I mean WHAT THE EVER LOVING FUCK? Seriously, what modern, college-educated woman What a weak point to have so much hinge upon it. It's incredible, in the sense that I really can't believe it. Yes, the entire book is far-fetched, but that's whole point. BUT REALLY???
Also, if Christian really dies the thousands upon thousands of deaths he keeps on mentioning, he'd be dead. Repetitive prose fml.
I gave it an extra star just because I liked the change of perspective at the end.
Spoiler

Konečne je to za mnou! Toto bol v podstate zbytočný diel, čosi sa dialo tak cca na posledných 200 stranách, čo mohla autorka podľa môjho skromného názoru vopchať aj do dvojky... Vlastne... Celá séria mohla byť len jedna kniha, dejovo by to pasovalo...

Great ending to a great series! We finally learn everything about Christian! I loved them jumping ahead to 2014 and we see them married and with their little boy and her pregnant with another! I also like how she went back in the last chapter to the first book and we see them meeting from his point a view! For me, i see right then that even though we was "messed up" he had feelings for her right away...he just didn't know it!
