I dragged my feet to finish this one. Max comes off as an idiot - not trusting and loyal. And I feel like she's infantilizing Raghos too much. I can't count how many times I rolled my eyes because the dialogue was super cheesy and corny.

Did we all know what was going on right away? Yes. Did I still question myself about it as the novel went on? Yes. Did I still manage to be surprised at the twist? Yupppp.

I'm a sucker, we all know that. I just loved this one.
