i was convinced for the first 400-ish pages that this was gonna be the best book in the series, and then the last 100 pages happened. i really liked jules, and i thought her character was well-written and i enjoyed pretty much everything about her. josh on the other hand…i cannot get over how he reacted when jules
came clean about the painting and returned everything she “stole.”
at the very least, he should’ve groveled a hell of a lot more—at least half as long as alex did imo. i might think about this rating a bit more before i commit to the three stars (because i mean it when i say the first 400 pages are worth 5 stars), but i also might just think about what this book could’ve been and move on.

Very similar quality to Twisted Games. I liked the climax but after it was too fluffy. I really enjoyed this book best I’ve read out of the series so far.

I think this is my favorite so far, but I'm looking forward to Christian and Stella's book even more.   I did not like Josh or Jules in the previous books, but I did like them in this book. Jules' past really explained a lot.  She really had nothing to be ashamed of.  I feel like she was a victim of so many terrible people.   Josh was a vain man whore, but A+ with the hate F***ing.  I liked the sex in this book more than the first 2.  I like that Alex was in this book a lot because, for some reason, I love the cold psycho characters.

One thing that bothered me was the blackmail material felt like it would qualify as child pornograph...

The second thing that bothered me was that I think Josh needed to grovel more.  I did believe that he was remorseful, but his actions were so hurtful.  I can't believe what he did and said to Jules, and I'm honestly not sure I could ever forgive someone if they did that to me.

I enjoyed this book overall (I was still thinking about how great twisted games was lol). I thought the smut was hot and heavy and I enjoyed Jules and Josh’s back and forth. Their relationship progressed nicely and the story was easy to follow. I did find myself laughing at some moments which was refreshing.

I wish Jules would’ve just told Josh everything from the beginning even though I understood why she was scared to. I also understand why Josh was upset with her but that scene after she confesses everything is brutal! He was really fucked yo for that. I appreciate that she didn’t just immediately go back to him but I wish she would’ve made him beg a little more because he was very fucked up. I am happy they reconciled though.

I actually like Alex better in this book than the first. He’s still grumpy but has more personality, plus he calls Josh out which is nice.
