Minor (undetailed) spoiler towards the end of my review: I enjoyed the banter between Josh and Jules and how the love between them unfolded. And it was super spicy! I like getting pieces of the other women’s stories in this book too. I appreciated the little things he did to show he cared and I was certain this was going to be my favorite one of the series… until like 85% of the way through and Josh pissed me off! I could have done without that whole “sex” scene towards the end… it made me so uncomfortable and I considered DNF’ing the book. What Josh did and said to Jules was super gross and I think she forgave him way too easily. Actually, the more I think about it the more pissed off I get. It was humiliating and gross.

3.75 stars. I LOVED the first 80% of the book. Jules and Josh had such great banter, as Becca would say the smut was smutting and I love the enemies to lovers trope. But the last 20% of the book… forget about it. You know I hate third act breakups but if you are gonna have one, fine and did Josh have every reason to be hurt about Jules’ betrayal, sure. But to do what he did, come on now, he could have gotten mad in literally 30 other different ways, like what he did was so unforgivable as a reader and it totally changed my perspective on him, which sucks because I really liked him. He was definitely my biggest crush out of Ana’s books. This book was gonna be a 4 star until the third act break up. I’m also so sick of the use of unnecessary big words like besotted, just say infatuated or harangued, just say aggressively lectured. No 20 year olds are using words like this I can promise you that.

In comparison to the previous books, I must say this one is my least favorite
But still a veeeery spicy, intense and also heartwarming story 🤞🏻
