This was the angriest book I've ever read. Like there was so much heat and drama, sitting in front of an open flame would burn my face less.
Lots of hate sex, I did skim through that.
But the plot of the story was interesting, and I wish I had a ride or die like Alex.
I will say, the friendship between Jules and the others tugged at my heart. It showed how much life can change but if you have that one or multiple constant, it's not too bad.

4.5!
Favorite in the series at this point! Best spice, hands down. I’m a sucker for an enemies to lovers. Jules was probably my least favorite in the first book but she grew on me in this book.

Okaaaaay… I really liked this book too, not as much as the second one but it was good. I liked that the main characters in this book are different and I could learn from them. Also I LOVED the enemies to lovers dynamic so much. I can’t wait to finish the series with the last book but at the same time I’m kind of sad?

Definitely better than the first two but still a little lack luster. The character development and storyline flowed nicely. Loved the smut scenes but didn’t feel it needed to be this long of a book. I would recommend this book to a beginner of smut.

I hate josh chen. i love enemies to lovers but not their vein of it. only scene i smiled at was when alex asked for his blessing to propose to ava which isn’t even apart of this story line. nothing i hate more than a man whose only emotion they can show is anger. this is someone’s cup of tea but it isn’t mine.

Maybe it's just me because I've read a decent amount of smut where things are as rough or rougher (darker?) than this, but I think this is just a lot and made me uncomfortable. The first time our MCs are together is so close to sexual assault and there are so many more instances where it's just rough. Josh is a fucking prick. Lavender oil doesn't erase all the other shit. I actually am okay and like Jules and feel for her. And that's the only reason I gave it 2 stars and not 1.
