This is a romance with a touch of mystery. I really enjoyed the playful banter and the respect Keto showed to Nola. Great read!

Love with a bit of sass

I loved Nola and her way of looking at life. She didn't filter what came out of her mouth and if she didn't like something she told you like it was.
Kato was smitten right from the first time she flipped him off through the coffee place window. I loved how confident he was and elect he acted in front of Nola. I loved when she called him Cocky he said Delightful. They were such a cute couple.

The book that I didn’t realize I needed! It was so refreshing to read about a funny & witty heroine. Nola absolutely cracked me up at every turn. She was sarcastic and not afraid to speak her mind. Loved how her & Kato’s love story turned out. It was really fun to spend time with Chase & Aubrey from Cocky Bastard again too. Do yourself a favor & read this book! You won’t regret it.

How many times does the author have to reiterate that the book is Cocky delight???? This was a silky boring book about a millionaire landscaper and a quirky fmc and her granny’s cat.

Loved this book, Nola's lack of filter was so funny.

the first time Nola and Kato's eyes met was when she got her heal stuck in a grate and she flipped him tie bird, little did they both know that her taking a job with Chance would bring them together.

with an crazy ex Lance always being where she was and a sister that only wanted money from her, and the satanic cat, what more could Nola want from her life, but Kato came into her life and loved her, she didn't know who he was or what he was worth but she didn't care, she loved him for who he was with her, even when she found out she was pregnant he was there supporting and loving her.

I loved this book, serious in places but with the lack of Nola's filter so funny, the secondary characters, Aubrey and Chance played a huge part in making this book as good as it is.

What a great addition to the Cocky Hero Club! Maria Macdonald has told a fun and emotional story and I’m here for it!

Kato and Nola’s romance isn’t a textbook definition of what romance is supposed to be, but it works for them. Kato takes one look at Nola and just knows, unfortunately Nola isn’t always easy to convince.

We get to spend a lot of time with Chance and Aubrey in this book too, which is always a good time. All in all this story will check all the boxes. Don’t miss out on this one!

“I’ll do whatever I need to protect her, and I’ll do whatever I need to make sure she’s okay, that nothing like this ever touches her again. I will be the one to make sure the rest of her life is golden”

“Cocky,” she mutters.
“Delightful,” I reply, grinning.

Hehehehehe. I loved this book so much. Nola reminds me of the main character from Welcome to Hell Boys and Kidnapped Naked from Wattpad. She was a wildfire. I absolutely adored her and her personality. This book was a solid 5 star for me. Everything was going great. Kato, who is Japanese American, was the perfect man. Did you see the part where I said he wasn't one of the usual white boys? Ugh! Men with flavour! Anyhow, it was amazing. He was literally perfect. Nola was perfect. The book was amazing. I knew some shit was gonna go down though because around halfway through the book, things were perfect which only meant conflict was waiting for us. When I found out Kato used to cage fight and shit! Damn! I thought he couldn't get better and he did! When he got so angry he could taste it, and when he cracked his neck. Oh my God! I was ready to jump his bones. The toxic in me really came out. Damn. So what, I like toxic men, sue me! Ok no, don't sue me, I'm broke, but you get the point. I like good toxic though, not bad toxic. So basically I like toxic like Hardin Scott and not like Lance. Lance was a stupid, small dick, skunt. I really hope Kato pulled some rich bad boy shit and got him killed or some shit. Anyhow, Kato is perfect! He is most definitely of my book husbands now. At this point, I need a flaw in him, so his flaw will be that his dick has a foreskin. Wait- I wonder if they got their sons circumcised or not. Aubrey and Chance are amazing! I love them so much. Oh, Jesus, everyone has or wanted pet chickens, goats, and ducks, and the Caribbean in me kept saying "Mhm, curry or chicken/duck/goat."

There was only one time throughout this entire book where NOLA annoyed me (which is rare) with her actions but it was lowkey understandable. Even then when I was annoyed, I loved her because that reaction fit so well with her personality! Bryony's actions confused the hell out of me.

There is a place called Bread Pitt in the book and my dumbass thought it said, Brad Pitt. I had to read it over like 6 times to finally realize. Also, how dare the author put Big Mike in the friend zone! Give him a lil lady. Yoooo the way Kato would turn me on if he was a real person. I loved how the love came about as well. She flipped him off and he knew he wanted her. Also, is how Aubrey and Nola always getting kicked out of food places. And Blanche. I'm not a cat person but I love the little devil spawn.

There was this one incident that happened in the book that made it go from a 5 star to a 3 star but then the way Kato handled the situation sent it right back up to 5 stars. Then Nola's reaction to how Kato reacted sent the rating down to 4 stars. Of course, Nola made up for it and sent my rating flying through the roof. This book is a well-deserved 5 stars. The relationship between Nola and Kato is freaking legendary and deserves to be read by all!
