I really like the story structure of this book! Each part was a day over the summer and you get multiple characters perspective on the day and the events that transpired. Definitely a lot of rich people drama which was entertaining. However, even though the book is relatively short, it felt like it dragged a little. And there were so many characters that kind of all felt the same so they were hard to keep track of. And it was also hard to keep track of what each person knew about the secrets/ scandals taking place. Overall, it was a fun read, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to read it again.

Really a 3.5 but I don’t think I can round up for this one. Nice easy read but a bit cheesy.

Okay. This one had my jaw DROPPED.

The story in this was interesting, the people were so messy and intriguing that I forgot for a minute that it was a murder mystery!
I literally only one person - Sam - and even he started to fall apart at the end. Everyone else was so complicated and two faced and I loved it.

It took me a second to get used to soooo many POV’s, but once I did, it worked so well for this story. The different views and opinions and seeing what everyone was dealing with privately.

In the small snippets where I remembered that it was actually a murder mystery, I realized just how well ER did on this story, because the dead body could be ANYONE and the murderer could be ANYONE.

Loved this. A very fun summer read.
