Again, a fun and enjoyable romp through the Star Trek universe. I liked the additional level of history. Having not watched Deep Space 9 I think there are aspects I missed, but overall, I am sure I enjoyed the book as much as a I might have.

Good story. Preferred the "contemporary" sections over the historic ones as those characters are the familiar ones.

A clever attempt at tying together virtually all of the "travel back in time to 20th century Earth" episodes into a single adventure. Enjoyable, though I did end up getting a bit confused about timelines towards the end, but not enough to be a major bother.

Better than average Star Trek story which links at least 2 episodes of the Original Series and some other the books if I remember rightly.
It is fast paced and follows 2 UFO investigators over several years as they try to prove that Earth of the 50s up to the late 60s was being investigated by races from other planets. This tale is interspaced by events on the Enterprise and adventures of Gary 7s assistant Roberta as well of some of these aliens.

While not a TOS reader, the book's blurb (and admittedly, the cover) grabbed me immediately - I'm a sucker for anything with time travel in it. This is a fun, but intense, hunt for unidentified flying objects in the mid-20th Century Trekverse.

With some interesting characters (Wainwright, Marshall, Sutherland) and some encounters that left me with the chills, I'd definitely recommend this read to Trek fans. There's a lot of real life history tied-in with Trek episodes, so don't read when you're tired!

This is not badly written. It is just not what I am looking for in a Star Trek novel.

It was ok. The action sequences were fun. I did get confused a few times about who was what and when, what with the time travel and everything. Still, it was fun to see Mestral, even if only for a small part of the story.
