A cute queer romance, and I loved Ray and the filming crew. But, I didn’t love Simone, and didn’t entirely believe the chemistry between the two. I feel like their relationship and feelings kinda came from nowhere?? Oh well, still enjoyable enough, with some nice messages about being yourself and standing up for what’s right.

to be quite honest I literally hated this book lol I almost gave up on it but something compelled me to finish. the politics of it were so utterly icky I hated every moment they spoke about gender or sexuality. I liked Ray they were very near and dear to me but gosh I hated just everything else other than the bare bones concept 😭
