It wasn't really a book for me.. I did not like the characters that much and also I didn't feel any chemistry or emotions throughout the story. I liked the companion story "Parade" with it's magical realism even a bit more than the original plotline.

Such an enchanting book! Like the woman on the cover, you float through it. And just like her dear sake`, you can't stop at just one sip. I gulped down this deliciously wistful story. Two hesitant lonely people bonding over food and drinks. Atmospheric and compelling.
