Första boken som som jag nöjesläst och wow! Den fick mig verkligen att öppna upp ögonen för läsning. 

Tjuvarnas stad är en bok där man verkligen blir förälskad i karaktärerna (speciellt Kolja!). Boken hyser karisma och har en charmig ironisk bakton från början till slut. Det är något som David Benioff lyckats framhäva med fingertoppskänsla. Kommer definitivt leta efter fler verk av honom. 

Boken har ett melankoliskt slut som lämnar en känslofyllt avtryck på en. Nästan att man fäller en tår.

Humorous, adventurous and dark at times. The author created one lovable character and a horny bland self-insert. Much plot, mystery and adventure keeps the pace of the sort very entertaining to follow and while set in a very real and terrifying setting, the horrors of war are not shied from.

Never thought a book could be so funny and depressing at the same time. Definitely a unique book with a very likable character (not the main character).

The characters (particularly one) are very funny and also this subject matter is of course not funny. It’s set during world war 2 and there are plenty of disturbing horrible things that happen. The writing style of this book is great and very easy to read.
