Okay! I really like this one. For dark romance it was really good 5 ⭐️- the kidnapping and how he really put it all in the line for her in the end. I’m a sucker for those book! Overall book wise it’s a 4.5 star as I would’ve like a little more out of it but if I take away all the other genres I read it’s a solid 5 star read. I cannot wait to see what else this series brings.
I did not enjoy this book at all
Creighton was annoying , Annika remains annoying.
And most side characters were irritiating as well
I hated how they all threw anni aside when she shot cray to save her brother THE HYPOCRISY, of them all, except remi who remains the best side character ever
The heathens plus the Eli and brandon were alright but the girls irked the fuck out of me , if it was Landon or Eli or anyone else who shot another to save their sibling no one would bat an eye but when it's Annika they all turned their backs on her, misogyny much?
And i genuinely thought cece was amazing for going to check on her and reconcile but turns out it's just a plan cray made to trick her
The sex scenes also didn't do anything for me repetitive af and meh, and why is this obsession with Anal? she told him she didnt like it and he still went on and did it anyway wtf and you mean to tell me that a girl who watches porn like Annika doesn't know what squirting means ? Bffr
Im not into meak submissive fmc so Annika really didnt resonnate with me neither did Creighton i found him to be bland and unreasonable, like he blames Adrian for killing his father WHEN HE TRIED TO RAPE LIA why tf would he be mad at a man for protecting his wife against a scum rapist
Elsa and Aiden were the stars and won the award of the most annoying characters ever, why the fuck would they tell Cray that Anni doesnt deserve him and is of bad nature for chosing her family ? Tf ?

Oh wow i can’t say how much i enjoyed Creighton. I can’t explain it but i couldn’t get enough of him! I love a good grumpy sunshine trope so much.
