I'm happy to report that I loved my experience of reading this book. It is an excellent and insightful glimpse into the perspective of being nonbinary or gender diverse and the ways in which social structures can harm and restrict all of us.

The book was absolutely brimming with such a high level of compassion and love that it quite honestly made me a little emotional.

I highly recommend this read for anyone and everyone!

Beyond the Gender Binary is an excellent debrief on the struggles transgender folks face in daily life sized perfectly to fit in your pocket, if you're the kind of person carries books like that. While this may feel more simplistic to someone already knowledgeable in the realms of gender and trans identity, this is a concise, cutting, glorious read for those folks - particularly young adults - who are starting to test the fraught waters of transition and presentation.
