TW: Fatphobia, death of sibling, death of spouse, murder, Sexual Assault/Harassment/Rape, Eating Disorder, Suicide attempt

Whew.  That's a lot of triggers.  Be warned, this is a very tough book to get through. It's hard to say that it's good, but it's powerful.

Just be aware of all of the triggers, I think I included them all, but double check if you are concerned in the slightest.

This book hits very hard, and it feels very familiar for those of us who were born extremely sensitive and very emotional (and everyone feels like they need to remind us about it all the damn time). I felt a closeness to Julia, and I look forward to reading more from Ms. Sanchez.

2.5 really, 3 stars for the Chicago references (that I finally understand!!!)

Read for MLIS elective

I skimmed this but there's also ableist and fatphobic comments.
