Very charming and low stakes, good spice but unfortunately didn’t stick the landing. Loved the banter and the way therapy was used as a plot device to avoid miscommunication tropes!

overhyped but not bad

for me this started strong, dragged for a looong time, and then the ending drew me back in.

when i tell you i was 3/4 into the book and still asking myself “wait, did they ever find out how Aaron’s arm actually got injured?” thinking i had just missed it. but, no, they all just didn’t care about getting to the bottom of it, despite that literally being the reason Nate has to step in as her skate partner. y’all didn’t discuss that during the 10 hours a day you’re seeing each other? i couldn’t believe it.

i appreciated what the author was trying to do with therapy (as someone who has been in therapy since a young age, like our beloved Anastasia) but at times i found it annoying.

loved that the boys’ group chat name was puckbunnies. that actually rocked.

“bub” = sent chills down my spine every time. scary stuff out here.

Holy hockey I can’t believe I just read this, I was mesmerized from start to finish. The characters in this book are some of the best I’ve ever read in a romcom. JJ, freaking Henry?! And the spice, holy shit that Uber scene
