I love this book even though I cried while reading it!

If you've read the first series, you have to read this heartfelt, touching, book.

It follows the life of the protagonist, Bluestar, up until the start of "Into the Wild".
there are a lot of time skips. It will skipa few months in time and loads of cats will be dead and it doesn't go into much detail about their deaths.

this particular book i read after the original series when i was starting to phase out from this time of my life (at like 9 yrs old????) but i specifically remember being so traumatized reading about her litter????? she is cursed to basically ruin the life of every kitten shes forced to care after??? also this changed the trajectory of my life bc i realized this is a womans tragic fate (not just concerning the kittens but her life and duty and responsibilities and relationships as a whole)

I cried a lot in this one, it's very sad. I love Bluestar so so much.
I think the ending was a bit rushed and I wanted more but it was an great read
I recommend it to anyone who has read the first Warriors series.
