I like how the transition from the prologue to the first chapter -- along with the rapid pacing through time -- gives this super edition the feeling that this is Bluestar's life flashing before her eyes during her final moments. It's a nice touch.

I love this book!!! So sad when she loses everything, her mother, her sister, her kits, and then last but no least , not even in the book her mate. I was crying when her mom and sister died..:'/ I have read all of the warriors, best series EVER!!

So many problems could be solved in this series if the feral cats in the forest had maternity leave

This was my absolute favorite Warriors book yet! I loved all of the backstory in this, and Bluestar is now one of my favorite characters. My favorite part was when she met with Oakheart because she chooses to have kits but still wants to be, and becomes, leader of Thunderclan.
I only finished this in two days because of how good it was.

Unironically, Bluestar is one of the peakest characters in all fiction
