This book made me cry, and cry, and cry some more, but you need to have read the first Warriors series to fully understand this book (especially the ending). The story of Bluestar's life is such a tragic one, but that's what makes it so amazing. I fully recommend this book to any Warriors fan.
I think this book is great and I love how it starts as bluestar as a kit and tells her point of vue while she progresses from a kit to an apprentice then an apprentice to a warrior and so on to deputy then eventually leader.

quel plaisir.
I loved seeing bluestar's backstory but there was soooo much to cover, and even though this is a 500 page book, her story from newborn kit to clan leader was so long that it felt like they really skipped over some areas and rushed it a lot at the end. I understand maybe they went through the end faster because we kinda already know that part of her backstory from reading the prophecies begin, but I believe there was so much history to go through, this book really could've been an entire 6 book arc. and I'd have definitely read it all because this book was really good!
Ahh I really liked the last 3 or so chapters - MEMORIESSSS
