The writing got so much better from the first book to the second. The dialog is still not quite there, but the story is solid and now it’s written even better than the first book.
We’ve branched out from the beauty and the beast retelling and the author has introduced a whole lot more tension into our why choose group. The story now centers around our group trying to save the autumn realm from what appear to be frost zombies.
As far as spice goes, the scenes are not terribly long, but we do finally get aMMF scene that isn’t just men taking turns (looking at you J Bree). So props to our author for that one!
Not sure how that’s going to be topped, but I guess we shall see in book three!
