And we keep getting better 🙂‍↕️. I was unwell after the fort book ended so naturally I needed to go into this one. This book picks up a little after the first one and I’m so glad they got back quickly. But boy getting there was no joke. Also thank you boys for the giggles with the dressing when you decided to come into the human world. Also. F**k Lucas. This book was a fun ride as we got to experience the Fall realm more and it was fun getting to know more of Farrons history. The whole ride of this book was tense and not a fun time. I also need Dayton to get his head out of his ass. Anyways. Getting to see Farron come into himself and grow was perfection. Him and Rose are everything. And the 2 of them with Dayton. Yes. All of it. I am also very intrigued by ole Prince of Thorns cause what in the hell is going on. Every time I get another chapter from him I am so much more confused. If not love interest, why love interest shaped? Anyways. I’m having the best time with these books and I need to know what is going to happen. Little things are coming together and I need more. Thank you.

4.5 easy round up to 5 The vibes and feelings in this book are unmatched. I thoroughly enjoyed this one as well, so much fun. Again, tons of fairytale and fantasy elements, as well as character and plot development. We also saw themes of body positivity, escaping abusers (physically and mentally), breaking down barriers. Lots of funny one liners about FMC being a book nerd (she takes an emotional support book into battle LOL) Book 3 isn’t out on audio yet but hoping to start paperback after I finish another visual read.

This was a great follow up book. It left me on the edge of my seat. There were obvious plot twists, but I didn’t mind that at all as there are still mysteries I haven’t figured out quite yet. I can’t wait to read the next one to see what else there is to this twisted tale of love and briars.

So, basically, we're going to rehash the same general plot of the first book throughout the next 4-5? I see. I skimmed some parts because, honestly, this book is dull.
