didn't quite expect the progression but I think it was nice. a lot of the fights and miscommunication felt forced, unnecessary disagreements that could be solved. I also dislike the fact that the mc holds back on a lot of important thoughts or feelings which makes it seem like the book is being dragged on by purpose (which it probably is).

YAWN. caspian is the only interesting one and even he’s entirely unoriginal. still i’m enjoying all the acotar inspired fantasy recently they’re always super fun
girlie needs to learn the meaning of time and place. then again respect to her for managing to get with four different people several times and win a war along with being super annoying and boring like where does she get the time ??

“If you're the tide and I'm the moon, pull me deep into your waves. I want to drown in you.”

I have to admit this one was a bit slower than Bonded by Thorns but I'm not entirely surprised, most sequels tend to have that happen to them I find. That being said, I really enjoyed the world and plot development for breaking the curse on the princes - it was slightly frustrating in parts with some characters

but I loved the character growth and the evolution of the relationships between Rosalina and the Princes.

There were some nice action scenes in this along with lots of cozy autumnal vibes (makes sense as the book is based around Farron). Overall, I sped straight through this one as well! I can't wait for the third to come out, very excited to continue the story of Rosalina and the princes. Glad I don't have too long to wait.

I'm loving this series so much. I wouldn't say it's the best written, but I've fallen for the characters and am loving the journey they're all on.

4.5 stars for this one!
