I've realized that I just don't care about this series. It's so predictable and I just don't care about going along for the ride. While written fine, I can't muster the energy to read another 1000+ pages.

well. this book (and the first) delivered exactly what i was expecting, which is cliché and ridiculous smutty romantasy... but i was entertained so i guess that's a win? 🤷

(the french translation tho...

Compared to the first book, I would definitely say that this one wasn't as good. Despire this, there was definitely more spice and political intruige. There was a lot more that happened in this book, and we got see a lot more into the characters. And a lot more questions...

will Rosalina mate with the others? Is she Caspian's mate? Is the Queen her mum?

All in all, I enjoyed this book but I did have to push myself to finish rather than being enveloped like the first book.
