I hate so much that I found this series before it was finished! There's just something about the writing that truly brings you into their world. It doesn't feel like reading a book, it feels like you're living it

I have quickly become obsessed with this series and love learning about the fae realm. It’s so interesting how there is a different realm representing each season, and I enjoyed getting to visit Autumn (my favourite season) and learn more about Farron.
From the first book, we know that Farron has trauma and issues relating to events that we get to learn about. I enjoyed getting to know him more and watch his character develop throughout the book.
Rosalina, thankfully, was not as infuriatingly simple and two-dimensional in this book. A lot of major discoveries and events occur for her, and I am invested in learning about her background. Specifically, her mother and what happened to her.
The four princes (and Caspian) are well-developed and individualised characters, and I enjoy seeing their relationships with each other as well as with Rosalina. It’s a why-choose, so I’m enjoying that aspect of it, and how there is no jealousy between the princes.
This book is quite long. There were times when I lost interest, and it felt like the plot was lagging. Most of the action happens at the end, so you just have to push through it.
