Pacing can be funky but do think it’s a good blend of spice and plot!

This was so cute and everything I wanted after the first book! Don’t get me wrong, some of those princes frustrate me with how obtuse they are, but that ending was everything I wanted!! I think I liked this one more than the first, and I cannot wait to read the next!

God I thought the first book was incredible but this one was even better. Rosalina being so determined to get back to Castletree was beautiful but the way she actually gets back had me sobbing because I was so happy. There were so many incredible scenes in this book. The tavern in the Autumn Realm with Farron and Rosie had me sweating and then I was like WHAT. This was like the never ending slow burn and I was like if Rosie doesn’t get some soon I’m gonna combust haha. The entire birthday party for Caspian was so wild but EZRYN?! Omg he really really got so sexy in this book. Farron has always been like my favorite because he’s just so sweet and precious but this book his character literally flourished and it was absolutely amazing. Keldarion was frustrating as ever and Dayton was just so unwaveringly loyal and it warmed my whole heart. The battle for the Autumn Realm was WILD and I was like white knuckling my Kindle the whole time. Lucas is even worse than he was in the last book, but that’s no real surprise. George (Rosie’s Dad) actually redeemed himself in this book but he definitely almost made a Freudian slip about Rosie’s Mom’s name and I’m even more convinced of who she is now but I just don’t know how much he knows about it. When we finally got the spice in this, we GOT THE SPICE. This was freaking fantastic and I started book three immediately after finishing

Idek why im reading these books???????? At this point it isnt even that messy. They’re all just absolute whores. I want drama.
