I love this series. It’s fun and has a compelling plot, keeping you intrigued with twists and turns.
I was struggling with a reading slump when I picked up Woven by Gold, taking me only two days to finish it. Well and truly a cure to the slump.
My love for the characters continues in this book, with their relationships growing and becoming more complicated as you move through the book. I have to say though I love all the MMCs I do get excited when Caspian makes an appearance, when you have a good feeling that the others will definitely be involved in the love story his character keeps you guessing, one moment appearing as the bad guy but the next acting as an ally. I particularly love that we get to end each book with a chapter from his POV.
Rosalina as usual does not disappoint, she is an asset to the Princes in every way which is exactly what I like in a FMC. Gone are the days of damsels in distress this girl is smart and uses it to all their benefits. I am extremely excited to see where her individual character storyline goes as I feel like great things are coming.
For this particular book’s storyline it is so nice to get a deeper look into Farron, getting more frequent POVs from him and to hear his back story as to why he was cursed. His growth in this book is great and done in a realistic timeline, not him just waking up one day and finding his courage. It is also nice to have a MMC whose strength is more internal and intellectually based.

Uh, THE YEARNING!
On the one hand it infuriates me that they refused to see that Rosie is their perfect match, but I just NEED to keep reading to solve the mysteries left yet uncovered.

Everyone in this book is an idiot. The FMC is especially annoying, and is treated like the most special person in the world, even though she barely participates in the plot (except as a cheerleader). The plot is both predictable and derivative. Many scenes seem lifted from the tv-show Game of Thrones and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Some lines are even eerily similar. Tiring of this franchise. To spread the thin plot over six(?) books seems like a money grab.
