Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the early copy!

Milk & Mocha (and matcha) are so incredibly cute! These short comics tell such a story with barely any dialog use at all and I think its very clever how the author/artist is able to do that. Each page is like a cute story taken from someones life and relationship, what theyve learned and how theyve lived and its really enjoyable to read.

The art style is really sweet and the colors are really soft and pleasant to look at. Overall this is a really enjoyable collection!

Very sweet, cute comics. I laughed out loud while reading a few times.

There’s some interesting use of panels and gutters here and there, but mostly they follow 4-panel squares; it’s easy to see how they are adapted from Instagram or a similar platform. Some of the comics were stronger than others.

I didn’t clock that Mocha uses an AAC device until I was 2/3 into the book, but I thought that was a very nice detail :)

I know this is mostly meant to be cute and easy, but I’m really interested in comics as an art form, and I liked it enough to really try to take a close look at it. Not much depth, but a whole lot of sincerity. I’d recommend it!

Thank you to Andrews McMeel for sending us a copy of this adorable book to read and review.

My daughter loved this book. She wanted to read it right away. It was such a cute read with the sweetest illustrations and little stories. Our favourite was when Milk pulled on Mocha cheek and it stretched out and had to be tied up. My daughter laughed about it forever and even tried it on me (eye roll ahah).
We would recommend this read because it’s so sweet.

This book was so cute. The perfect palate cleanser between novels. Mocha and Milk's relationship was so cute and wholesome, and the art style was lovely to look at.

For half an hour, the time spent with this book! Its comics were so cute and relatable, I couldn't do anything but thinking about my significant other.
