Very very poetic and beautifully written, I cried multiple times 
Really enjoyed this book even tho it smh took me over a month to finish it.

the ending really surprised me like I did NOT see that coming. Therefore I had to finish The last third of the book in one sitting.

a spare, lyrical fairytale of a book, atmospheric and ambiguous. i usually love this type of book, but i just could not get into this one and had to read it in spurts over several months. beautiful prose, though.

this is the kind of book that doesn’t have a very strong desire for the reader to understand what’s going on, in a fun way. it leaves room for you to leave in the gaps. it reminds me of an old fairytale, grim and dark and whimsical
