Ima be completely honest when I say that I was lowkey apprehensive about reading this book since I'm not into the whole fwb/fuck buddies concept, plus the summary of the book wasn't really interesting me, and then I read a few reviews that solidified that :) So, I skipped to the spicy chapters and read the last 6ish. All in all? Solid plot, the spice was good if you are into the concept of fuck buddies (I am not and much enjoy there being an emotional connection when the spice happens), and funny dialogue. HOWEVER, Josh had no right to do what he did to Jules towards the end when she confessed to what she'd done. You just don't do that to someone! You don't say those kinds of things to someone unless you're absolutely prepared to never see them again! Also, Jules? Why did you do it in the first place?? You went to Christian for help to wipe the video but yet you still stole the painting (I don't know if she acquired his help before or after she stole the painting)?? I don't know man. That just seems idiotic to me, in my opinion. Christian would've been my first phone call and then Alex.

I'm bummed that I didn't like this book as much as I did the previous ones but I'm just not a fwb kinda girl. I love intimacy and emotional connections. But seeing Jules and Josh later develop a romantic relationship was nice to read so I'm glad that in the end - in classic Ana Huang style - they ended up reaching that emotional connection later on. So, even though I give Twisted Hate 3.5 stars and can confidently say I don't regret skimming, I'm happy for how things turned out in the end - although Josh is still a sleazeball in my eyes for what he did and said - and I loved Huang's writing, as usual.

je suis amoureuse de cette saga. Josh n’a pas détrôné Rhys btw. mais sa bromance avec Alex ? Jfkkfkdkwisiixk

Readers who relish high-heat, banter-laden enemies-to-lovers stories that balance humor with emotional weight and feature protagonists whose ambitions clash until intimacy forces them to confront their past traumas will devour this book.

1000000% my favorite book in the series / fav couple thus far for a few reasons
