can we all be proud? 2 years after finishing twisted love & games i finally read twisted hate.

josh chen even if he has a lot of haters in this world, im a lover. josh is ava brother and sweetheart. ana normally writes book about guys who are billionairs etc. but josh is just a doctor. which i adore!!

jules is a ginger (i collect those). Jules is a girl i was affraid i wouldnt really love but she suprised me. i love a girl who knows what she want and will tell the mmc.

overall 3.5 stars!

Enemies to lovers. Wow. Best friends brother? YES. I’m a sucker for it, but the way Ana wrote this book was divine. I finished this book in less day 4 days, I couldn’t put it down.

So far this is my favorite out of the Twisted series. I enjoyed how everything connects, and how all the people connect. It gives it the spice it needs.

This book didn’t just have hot steamy chapters (that i live for), but a plot that thickened with mystery and despair. There’s always an ex in the picture, but the craziness behind this one was excruciating.

All the little details from their childhood adding up to who they are now as a person really clung to my Psychology mind and heart.

My heart hung on as I flipped each page curious how this story would end. It was a thrill reading this and I’m so sad I only have one book left of this series.
They say you don’t need the other books for this one, but it brings in everything and more from knowing the smallest details from book one.

Definitely not one for an enemies to lovers trope, especially when it comes to hate/angry sex. I also just didn’t like Jules or Josh’s personalities like at all and was hoping they’d get better over time.

My absolute least favorite in this series & I LOVE Ana Huang. The only reason this gets 2 stars is because of Jules who seems mostly decent. I could not stand Josh, and as not a huge fan of Ava bringing her back did not help (makes sense but still).

Josh had zero redeeming qualities, and I’m sorry but the

third act breakup

was SO INCREDIBLY MESSED UP. I listened to this on audio (terrible idea btw) and I couldn’t even go about any normal tasks without every 5-10 minutes pausing or stopping it completely due to how upset I was with what was going on.

I knew going into this I wasn’t going to love it (I’m not a fan of enemies to lovers) but I am making my way through all Ana Huang’s books in preparation for “The Defender”.

Obviously Ana is a beautiful and talented writer and I’m a HUGE fan of her, but I will not be revisiting this book again. Unfortunately I am just not who this book is for and that’s okay because I know many others love it. Just not for me. :(
