Cuteness Overload ! Truly adorable, Falling in Love with a Traveling Cat takes the reader on a journey throughout Japan. Cats are everywhere in this graphic novel, as they explore regions and foods.
I am in love with this book ! The illustrations are just the sweetest thing ! I really enjoyed how educational this graphic novel is. With a few words and plenty of illustrations, I learned a lot about Japanese culture.
informative
This is absolutely the cutest book ever. Cats are my favorite animal (I own 4 haha) and to see them in these adorable illustrations at the beach, at the park, in costumes and more was cuteness overload. This book is perfect for those who want to learn about the culture of Japan but with cats instead, I am absolutely gonna buy this book just to have as a coffee table book for when I need a pick me up of cute cats (because you could never have too much).

Cuteness Overloaded!!
This comic is so cute! It features adorable illustrations of cats travelling to aquariums, amusement parks, and beaches and enjoying different activities. These cats explore different places in Japan, enjoying food, and buying souvenirs. I liked the short descriptions of what cats are wearing and the foods.
I loved reading this comic and binge-reading it in one sitting. The illustrations are beautiful and full of colour.

I was about to buy the Mofusand hippers for my love addiction of cats while checking my NetGalley and viola! I got this illustration book from NetGalley (thank you so much as well as to Udon Entertainment for the ARC).
This book is so adorable and educational but please DO NOT expect about the a storytelling one for this. This illustration book is accompanied by short text helping you to learn about Japan and its culture and even cuisine.
A. Art Style & Visual Appeal
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: Stunning, immersive, and elevates the storytelling experience.
B. Storytelling & Narrative
⭐⭐: Some potential, but weak execution or pacing issues.
C. Characters & Dialogue
⭐: Flat, one-dimensional characters with weak dialogue.
D. Emotional Impact
⭐⭐: Some moments of engagement, but overall weak.
E. Pacing & Panel Flow
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: Masterfully paced, making excellent use of the graphic novel format.
I would highly recommend it to Mofusand fans and someone who is looking for an art inspiration to look at.

This is a very cute book with lovely illustrations about cats touring Japan. Almost information overload with the pages about the regional specialties!
Thank you to Udon Entertainment for giving me a copy of this on NetGalley even though the book came out Sept 2024!

The story takes us along Mofusand's calm journey to various trips. The illustrations are incredibly cute! I've been a fan of Mofusand for a long time, and it's a delight to see its first illustration book being published. The book is a relaxing, light-hearted read that's both perfect for calming readers on a busy day, or to lull us to sleep. I can picture myself picking it up over and over for a boost of motivation and happiness (also to stare at super cute fluffy cats!!). Looking at cute things is important after all. Would highly recommend it to everyone.

Super kawaii, and absolutely the most wholesome thing you've ever seen!
Was I kind of expecting a graphic novel from the categorization and tags this tends to fall under? Yes. That being said I am smitten with these kittens, even with it being more of an art book than a comic with a full on storyline. Juno's illustrations are simple but some of the cutest I've seen: especially when they put the cats in silly hats.
Like a warm hug, this is the book to pick up when you just want something quick and comforting to read/flip through.
Thank you NetGalley and Udon Entertainment for the ARC!

First off, many thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this book as an ARC! I greatly appreciate it!
I've been reading more graphic novels lately, but I don't think that's what this is. It's more a picture book? Which I kind of expected, but also I thought it'd be more an art book. But you know what? It was cute as hell, so I don't mind one bit! There's the barest semblance of a plot, along with some of the cutest kitties I've ever seen! Do you like cats? Then read this!
Five stars out of five for Falling in Love with a Traveling Cat!
