It was a good story, I felt. I don't think it was suitable for my age group. I'd say this was for children perhaps 8-12, though I enjoyed it quite a bit.
This book was so good. Great for that Middle Grade coming of age person!
Micha has been living with his Grandpa Ephraim since he was 4 years old due to the death of his parents. His grandpa has been telling him stories of this wonderful Circus. Charming and well written, Micha is thrust into this world trying to find a miracle that was promised to his grandpa when he was a young boy.
Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of the eBook in exchange for an honest review.

This is one of the sweetest, most wholesome things I've ever read. I am impressed by how well it managed to weave in some pretty serious topics and how tactfully they were handled.
What a read! This is one of the few I wish I could have a special 6th star to add on!
A quick, easy read but captivating and descriptive without getting bogged down in details. Elements of normal life mixed with a magical circus? Wonderful!

Circus Mirandus was the focal point of all stories Micah's grandpa told him as he was growing up. To Micah, it was a wild, adventurous, magical place that existed only in Grandpa Ephram's imagination. When Grandpa Ephram became gravely ill, Micah learned otherwise. Circus Mirandus was more than a figment of Grandpa's imagination. The famous "Man Who Bends Light" from the circus owes Grandpa a miracle and he means to collect it.
This is a wonderful story of magic and love. A delightful read that I highly recommend.
