I don't normally like novellas, but Jodi Taylor's are the exception! Any extra time with Max, Leon, Markham, Peterson, Guthrie, and the rest of the crew is a bonus for me. I love how these novellas tell little pieces of the story while still keeping the main narrative of the series.

This particular novella tells the story of how Elspeth Grey leaves a loaded Glock in ancient Egypt and Max, Peterson, and Markham have to go on an illegal mission to Egypt to retrieve it...all during St. Mary's Christmas celebrations. It's a delight and another four star St. Mary's book!

Also a bunch of fun, though every now and then I wonder at the notion that some characters are both very smart and very not smart at the same go.

Another Christmas short story with max, markham and Peterson going on another illegal jump. I love the dynamics with these 3 and as always lots of things go wrong which lead to hilarious outcomes

Another wonderful one..... but now I have to wait weeks for the next one and then I have to wait forever for more after that! Why can't their be 40 of 'em?
