I love these novellas set between the books!

A missing gun, WD-40, and a Christmas miracle. What's not to love?

Another charming little story, this time following Max, Markham, and Peterson on a quick trip back to ancient Egypt. This time, to spy on another team of historians. Surprise, surprise. Things go awry.

Love these books!

This novella from The Chronicles of St. Mary's was THE BOMB. Best one of the bunch, thus far.
Shifting my crush from Mr. Markham to perfect Leon :)
Definitely worth the read (or listen, the narration is excellent!).

A sweet little short story set between book 6 and 7 of the series.
A moment of happiness for Max.
adventurous funny lighthearted mysterious tense fast-paced

Amusing...but.

It's just not quite...I can't...okay, look, it's impossible to please everyone all the time and this is the one that doesn't do it for me. Not that that's a bad thing. It's just a thing. I still laughed and there are some lovely set-ups. It is a Disaster Magnet's duty to read all things Markham, no? So read!

Another fun adventure with the crew of St. Mary's. In this one we get to see more antics of Maxwell, Peterson, and Markham. I liked how we got to see more of Max and Leon's relationship and how they are getting on now that they are married. I also enjoyed getting to see more of Gray and how things are going with her.

Yeah, this was fun. It's nice to come back to this series every once in a while, even if it's just for a christmas short story (read in the middle of summer). It wasn't groundbreaking or anything, but an enjoyable short audio book to listen to while folding clothes.
