Beautifully written, but deeply disturbing. A tough read honestly, I almost gave up a couple of time because of the unsettling content but I’m glad I pushed through.
I had seen the movie a very long time ago so I slightly remembered the story outline, although I don’t remember a lot, but the book was much darker than I remember the film being.
I do have to say though that the writing is great, I loved how every chapter was in the point of view of a different person.
This is not a book I would suggest to anyone and it gets 3 stars for being so dark and graphic but again the writing was amazing and the author deserves credit for that.
