Insta-love of the absolute worst kind, random chapters with little to no connections between them, tone is too childish. I decided a few weeks back to give mangas a 3-volumes-try, but I'm seriously doubting the third one can salvage this series for me. The last chapter was more interesting though, so who knows

I'm enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would lol. I'm like giddy. It's so much fun! There's also like an underlying darker element too which is exciting.

It's been a minute since I've read this series and I was feeling a bit nostalgic for it. It's definitely as good as i remember emner it... for now at least lol

I am loving the art style of this series. It’s delicate, ethereal, magical. I am like the idea of the plot.

However, I can’t put my finger on it yet but something just isn’t hitting me. I am not getting pulled in just yet.

Maybe it’s that the only interaction between Himaria and Aoi is that of a damsel-hero dynamic. Which is already getting old.

Maybe its how the story comes out quite simple to me so far, and that I could guess the ending. Granted we aren’t given much plot yet.

Or maybe it’s that the dialogue between all the characters has been repetitive since volume 1. “How can I help Aoi” “I want to help Aoi” “what can I do” “she shouldn’t be here” “we want her to leave” “Himari you should go” - I want more conversation.

I am not giving in just yet. I am hoping the series will pick up here soon.

Fabuła zaczyna się rozkręcać. Chociaż przez większość książki przysypiałam to końcówka wzięła z zaskoczenia. Plot twist, którym zakończony został ten tom, zdecydowanie zachęca do sięgnięcia po dalsze części.
