This was fine. The jokiness of the narrator really, really bugged me. I got annoyed. I didn't mind her counting, like some others, I liked it a bit. This book contains every single YA trope imaginable, but it's ok. It was fine.

the cringe was so cringe (until i got used to it) but at least i really enjoyed the concept :)

The writing is very confusing, to many characters pop up all over the story, and everything felt inconsistent. This book felt more like a draft, it needs more polishing.

"Hate is like drinking a vial of poison and expecting it to harm the other person. You're not hurting the guy, only yourself."

Oh man, Firstlife had such gooood potential. Like picking out what "everlife" to live in after you die?! Sign me up. That would awesome. Heck I could get behind this book and into this series.

Alas, I was so completely bored with it. The two "everlife's" are at war with each other and our home girl doesn't want to choose either of them. UGHHHH. I didn't care about anything that was happening. The characters were just meh. The plot was meh.

The book just left me with such disappointment. I really wish I liked this book because I was sooooooooooooo excited to see it. Maybe in a couple of years I'll re-read it, but for right now I just want to walk away from it.

I liked this book SO MUCH!! A more additional review will soon be posted on my blog.

Actually a 4.8 out of 5 stars.

This was such a great idea for a story! I don't think the writing or the plot was executed very well but the premise alone really brought up the rating. I think i will read the second book just because I really want to see what happens in the everlife and the place she picked. Honestly she made the best decision bc troika is so much better than myriad.
