I thought during the first couple of chapters I may not even be able to finish the book, but I ended up reading it quicker than The White Queen. I found it extremely compelling, almost against my will! Haha. Particularly the second half, which depicted the same events as the The White Queen but from a different point of view. I always enjoy books that have different points of view, but I’ve never experienced a series that does this with separate books.
Moderate: Sexual assault, Rape, and Adult/minor relationship
