This was a re-read for me! Preparing for the next book, Fate of the Sun King.

So much better the second time around! I loved it the first time, too, but there was something about knowing the characters better. And I forgot just how SPICY this was! Going from a MMC that was a golden retriever in the last book I read to Nadir who is anything BUT GR, was...whew!!

Book two is so much better than the first! Less cringey dialogue. Does much happen in the way of plot? Not really. But the romance is SO GOOD and I love our FMC
