Great writing and a relatively fun book with interwoven characters and intrigue. The murder mystery isn't really the focus, but there are plenty of secrets, espionage, and people caught in the middle. I hadn't read a book set in the Cold War before, and I found the time period and interplay between communism and capitalism interesting. Elizabeth Edmondson still hasn't disappointed.
