Garron Park is not the most pleasant place to live. But sometimes the chips fall where they may. Tucked away in the trailer park are Xavi, Devon, Maddox and Nate. They forged their own family amongst the 4 of them and make it work.

Devon and Maddox have hated each other since they can remember. Rivals on the race track, with girls, in life. They live to make the other one miserable. But what is that hate? They discover it may be something so much more.

I love the banter. The hard shell outside, soft shell inside parts of them are beautiful. They struggle to define what they are to one another, but does everything need a label?

This was a great, hard fought love story with super angst, meddling and caring older brothers, jerk fathers and some redemption. And it's 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

BookTok made me read it and left me disappointed. DNF 62%. The main problem I had with this book was the fighting, they fight just to fight, and over stupid 💩 too. Being in your mid twenties and acting like that, childish and juvenile was off putting to say the least. Also it didn’t much focus on motorcross which I was looking forward to reading.

4 out of 5 ☆’s.

”I didn't know what to do with my hands. I wanted to pull him closer, but these fists had never been good for anything but punching him.”

This was a quick and enjoyable read! :)

I like that Maddox and Devon were actual enemies throughout the book (it’s a bookish pet peeve of mine when books are marketed as containing the “enemies to lovers” trope and don’t deliver on the “enemies” aspect of things) and I liked seeing their relationship develop as the story continued!

I do wish that we got some more motocross scenes, though.

I hope that Nate and Xavi get a story in the future! ♡

So, I started this book last night and finished it today. First, thank you for the trigger warnings at the start of the book! That was fantastic and allowed me to prepare mentally.

I will say this story of how much environment effects relationships and how you see yourself and others is amazing.

I knew it would be them together but I loved how much they stayed true to their selves.

I loved they even in a relationship they still angry people. But they learned they have people who care.

I can’t wait for the next one!
