I would have like it for her to call the people something different from Believers since I kept thinking about Justin Bieber but other than that I loved it

Just so tense, atmospheric, and striking. This was both a joy to read and quite difficult to get through, my favorite kind of fiction.

One of the things about this book that I think will stick with me is that I kept having to remind myself that it wasn’t apocalyptic/dystopian. All of the events are things that have actually happened.

So good, I really loved this book. It’s SO relevant and either a perfect or terrible read for all the girlies scared of the current state of the economy.

A somewhat validating exploration of the emptiness and endless drudgery of late-stage capitalism! It’s a good read if you hate your job and want to read about other people who hate their jobs. I don’t know that I found it particularly memorable, but it’s a Sad Girl book through and through and it delivered on that!
