This series is so fun and fascinating and I love the art. Also Thea and Morgan and Thea’s awesome giant goddess mom. The last bit made me !!!!!! and I can’t wait to see where it goes.

A good continuation of The Only Living Boy series.

The thing that really stands out in these books is the artwork. It is very well-done. Breath-taking landscapes, wonderful character design, intense action scenes. A visually stunning series.

As the adventure continues, we find out more about the world Eric finds himself in and its various dynamics. The ending was very abrupt, but the cliff hanger did its job in making me want to read the next book to see what happens next.

Overall, a good read. I am interested in reading the next book and seeing where Eric's next adventure takes him.

The art is very lovely. The story draws you in. There are all kinds of creatures and beings here. Erik can't remember anything and his friends are taking him to a Queen who can help him remember. He is being chased. There is a twist ending to keep you going.

I didn't know this was a series and I picked up volume 2 before volume 1 so I need to go back and read Volume 1. The cover likens this to Amulet and it's not. This is interesting, but it's no Amulet. I do like that Erik carries a teddy bear backpack. Refreshing.

The Only Living Boy #2: Beyond Sea and Sky was a visually stunning installment in this series. Many of the panels were absolutely gorgeous.

In this issue, Erik's story continues while he's in search of his friends and still trying to figure out what happened to him. He still has no memories, though a few fragments DO become clear to him when his friend Thea's mother agrees to help him remember.

There was an abrupt ending to this volume which caught me up short, but I'm most definitely interested in seeing what happens, so on to number 3!

Recommended for fans of YA and/or coming of age stories, and truly eye-catching artwork!

This series is strange. Cliffhanger ending though!
